Thank God for "Rest Days." I went to bed last night feeling like a million bucks after running my longest run (9 miles) that morning. I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a bus in my sleep, then beaten with a baseball bat. Then.. well, you get it. I hurt. Thank God it was a rest day. I feel okay tonight.. a little stiff, but a good stretch will cure that right away.
I'm probably going to wake up early and run tomorrow. Problem is, I'm supposed to be into work at 8am. That means waking up SUPER early. Not sure how I feel about running in the dark of morning, although I did it yesterday. It might be better on a weekday morning, since more people will be out driving around. I'm doing it. Up at 5:30 it is. Yikes.
